About Blogsboro

In the fall of 2004 a group of bloggers from Greensboro and the rest of North Carolina got together face to face and quickly became such a driving force in Greensboro media, creative writing, networking and local government that they got the attention of the Los Angeles Times 2500 miles to their west and were coined, Blogsboro in a Times article about Greensboro's rapidly evolving Internet scene. Soon the entire State of North Carolina would be influenced and inspired by Blogsboro.

Many innovations came from the gathering of minds that the world called Blogsboro. Ideas like local aggregation of content were born in Blogsboro with the founding of NCBlogs.com and what would later become We101.com. Many others would follow.

The following year ConvergeSouth was born through the efforts of some of the residents of Blogsboro. While still in her infancy, ConvergeSouth stands a gem as it combines art, music, film, and technology all into one. Internet users from around the world come to Blogsboro to network, meet friends and learn more of what the Internet has to offer.

Blogsboro continues to grow and change and with that change came the need to find new uses for Blogsboro.com so in the spirit of what Blogsboro has always been and hopefully will always be I give you the new Blogsboro, A Collection Of The Greatest Creative Minds On The Web Today

Blogsboro.com is now an employee owned independent publishing business headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina that is hoping to someday add partner/owners from around the world.

This latest incarnation of Blogsboro is the dream of poet and author Billy Jones, AKA Billy The Blogging Poet of BloggingPoet.com-- the current leader of the Blogsboro Network sites. Billy is dedicated to making all the Blogsboro sites just as popular and hopefully more so.

Blogsboro.com is a reader supported network with advertisers making up a very small portion of our earnings.

Billy, I wanted to email you but could not find your email. I thought you were a friend and fellow creative poet. I added your poetry club to my web page. Now after a run with joining a club I will not name, I wonder. I hope that I will have no problem with these people as I am a Poet not a talk fest that wants garbage sent to my emil. If i must I will change it.
I am sorry to have to say this in a comment but i can't find you.
M. Bishop, Beloved Dreamer.
