Budd Wilkins
In the spirit that Billy started with using advertising images, Budd Wilkins is introduced in a "comic fashion". Budd is a writer concentrating on short stories and novellas that blend dark humor with the macabre and surreal. Budd has an extensive knowledge of film since its beginnings and writes reviews about films in the theatre now and films that you may never have heard of before. In addition, he reviews and critiques literature and music. Budd is also a photographer, collector of books and vintage comic art, a lover of old-time, blues and jazz music, and frequent patron of used book stores.

Tina Wilkins
Well, I'm having the hardest time coming up with a suitable advertising image for myself, which is ironic, because I'm obsessed with advertising. I have collection after collection after collection of vintage advertising, and you'll be seeing some of that here on Blogsboro under JazzzyTina.com. I'm Budd Wilkins' wife, (he photographed me on a cold day, which appears at left) and I have a business, CreativeScamper.com, which provides marketing, public relations, graphic design, and virtual assistance to sole proprietors, entrepreneurs, artists, and folks who just can't afford to hire an employee to help with their business. I also write about different things, including marketing tips, advertising, book and movie reviews, the cat, business in Greensboro, that sort of thing. I'm an avid gem miner and love rocks and minerals. Budd and I both love to collect books, books and more books. We have over 2,000 in about 600 square feet of living space, plus about 500 lbs of rocks and minerals, and the cat. I just finished selling off the majority of my extensive collection of antique cameras, so I know a thing or two about those. I'm planning on saving several of the old cameras and getting some film and seeing what I can do with them. I have an old Voigtlander that I'm dying to try out, even though I've had it for many years now. Budd and I will be doing some traveling soon, so I'll be writing about that as well.

Howdy, my name is Billy Jones. I’m a four-time published author, poet, writer, and for the last few years-- blogger. BloggingPoet.com is my attempt at writing and publishing a new magazine every week of the year. As the former editor/publisher of IdleHandsMag.com it was my dream to employ an entire staff of writers and editors in hopes of eventually moving to print.
